But Andrea did her character justice through her acting, and everyone felt the pain, longing, and injustice done unto a mother who lost her children in the hands of cruel people. May her performance inspire people to think twice before brushing off a person’s suffering.

Basketball is a physical sport, but Jose Rizal University’s (JRU) John Amores took it to another level. He proved that he has a nasty temper that clouds his judgment after he had tried to attack a fan and punched out three players from De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde (CSB) who got in his way. Two words aptly describe his actions: physical assault. If the NCAA officials don’t do anything about it, maybe the families of those he attacked will take matters into their own hands—preferably legally.

Celebrities often inspire people through their on-screen performances and real-life interactions. While starting a fanbase is common, creating a cult-like community is beyond disturbing. Maine Mendoza handled them gracefully at first yet stopped after fans of AlDub, the loveteam composed of her and Alden Richards, persisted. Some people take things too far and turn a deaf ear to a voice of reason. If we were Maine dealing with the same people repeatedly, we’d be exhausted too.
