Maroon 5 lead singer Adam Levine denies cheating on his wife but agrees he “crossed the line.”

Adam Levine was exposed after Sumner Stroh posted a video on Instagram stories on Monday revealing their conversation and admitted to seeing each other for about a year while married to Behati Prinsloo.

Stroh also showed Levine’s message after she stopped talking to him for months, saying, “This is how he came back into my life,” showing another screenshot of her notification on Instagram.

“Ok serious question. I’m having another baby and if it’s a boy I really wanna name it Sumner. You okay with that? DEAD serious,” Adam said in a message on Instagram.

After the video circulated on the internet, Adam Levine broke his silence regarding the issue. He posted a story on his Instagram account on Tuesday, saying that a lot is being said about him now, and he wants to “clear the air.”

“I did not have an affair, nevertheless, I crossed the line during a regrettable period in my life. In certain instances, it became inappropriate; I have addressed that and taken proactive steps to remedy this with my family,” Adam wrote in a statement on his Instagram account.

Levine and his wife Prinsloo recently revealed that they are awaiting their third child.

“My wife and my family is all I care about in this world. To be naïve and stupid enough to risk the only thing that matters to me was the greatest mistake I could ever make,” he said.

“I will never make it again. I take full responsibility. We will get through it. And we will get through it together,” he added.

Levine is the lead singer of the band Maroon 5 since 2001, started becoming a judge of The Voice in 2011, and married Victoria’s Secret model Prinsloo in 2014.
