ROSARIO, Cavite—Two men died after resisting arrest following a buy-bust operation for shabu at C. Abueg Street, Barangay Wawa 2 here.
Tricycle driver Ronelio Valera, 49, and Ryan Sunga, 28, used two improvised 12-gauge shotguns or “sumpak” to fight off the arrest and died on the spot, officer on case PO2 Rogelio Pico Raquin said.
Aside from the weapons, police recovered five sachets of shabu from the suspects along with the marked money used in the operation.
