Cotabato City—The Lanao del Sur provincial government has earmarked P10 million for the upgrading of the Amai Pakpak Medical Center in Marawi City through the procurement of COViD-19 testing machines and kits as well as additional medical supplies, Governor Mamintal Bombit Alonto Adiong Jr. said Friday.

Adiong handed over a P10 Million check for the hospital upgrading program to Dr. Shalimar Pinky Sani-Rakiin, the medical center’s head, in a simple ceremony in Marawi City on Friday.

He said the Provincial Board has also allocated funds for the second tranche of the Provincial Capitol’s Ligtas CoViD-19 Relief Assistance Operation for Lanao del Sur.

Adiong said officials and the people of Lanao del Sur were delighted by the good news that CoVid-19 curves were flattened in the province during the first two weeks of the month. Nash B. Maulana
