National Housing Authority (NHA) general manager Joeben Tai has vowed to continuously inspect the agency’s housing projects to assess the status of construction and determine if they would be completed on schedule.

“In line with our Build Better More Housing program, I assure you that the housing that will be built here will be affordable and quality with a progressive community that can be compared to private housing. We have also ensured that this project is close to major establishments such as town markets, public schools, hospitals, churches and police stations,” Tai said.

Along with assistant general manager Alvin Feliciano and other NHA officials, Tai led the inspection of the Disiplina Village Arkong Bato in Valenzuela City, of which President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. himself led the ground-breaking ceremony last month.

The in-city resettlement is designed to generate 20 low-rise buildings with 960 housing units with 24 square-meter floor area each.

It will accommodate the informal settler families living along danger areas in the city who were affected by a Supreme Court order to clean up the Manila Bay.

Tai also inspected Acacia Greenfield Homes in Barangay Manacnac, Palayan City and Camp Magsaysay Place in Barangay Kalikid Sur, Cabanatuan City in Nueva Ecija last April 20.

“We still have many houses to build so I expect your continued support and hard work,” Tai told his subordinates.
