President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. wished his mother, former First Lady Imelda Marcos, continued to be in good health, have blessings, and joy as she turned 93 on yesterday.
Marcos post his birthday message for his mother on Facebook.
“I join the country in greeting our mother the happiest of birthdays! We wish you continued (good) health, blessings, and joy,” the post stated.
Mrs. Marcos’ 93rd birthday came two days after her son took over as the country’s 17th President at the historic National Museum of the Philippines complex in Manila, as she enjoyed the performances of world-renowned pianist Cecile Licad and the Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra in Malacañang during the inaugural..
Senator Imee Marcos, the eldest child, also greeted her mother in another Facebook post.
“Today marks the 93rd birthday of Former First Lady Imelda Romualdez Marcos. Happy birthday, Madame!” the senator stated.
