Former Senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr. attended the first hearing on his plunder case at the Sandiganbayan on Thursday morning.
This is in connection with the alleged diversion of his P 10-billion pork barrel to the bogus non-government organizations of businesswoman Janet Napoles.

The senator was accompanied by his former chief of staff Richard Gambe, who is also a respondent to the case.
The anti-graft court’s Special First Division intends to conduct hearings on the former senator’s case every Thursday.
Revilla has been detained at the Philippine National Police (PNP) Detention Center in Camp Crame since 2014.
