The Department of Justice on Monday said five co-accused of fugitive Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC) founder Apollo Quiboloy on charges of child abuse, exploitation and discrimination have posted bail before the Davao City regional trial court.

In a report to the DOJ, the National Bureau of Investigation identified the co-accused as Cresente Canada, Paulene Canada, Sylvia Cemanes, Jackielyn Roy, and Ingrid Canada, who were charged with maltreatment.

They posted bail of P80,000 each for their provisional liberty.

On the other hand, Quiboloy – the principal accused – has remained at large despite the arrest order issued by the Davao City RTC on April 1.

Quiboloy and his co-accused were charged with violations of Sections 10(a) and 5(b) of Republic Act (RA) No. 7610, the Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act over alleged sexual abuses committed in 2011 against a female who was then 17 years old.

The NBI said it will continue its operations to locate and arrest Quiboloy.

“The NBI assured the public that it will not stop tracking Quiboloy until justice is served,” it said.
