A heart attack claimed the life of award-winning actress Jaclyn Jose, her daughter Andi Eigenmann confirmed Monday.
Facing the press with her brother Gabby Eigenmann, Andi tearfully confirmed that her mother died on Saturday morning, but was only found lifeless the next day when she didn’t make a movie date with a friend.
“It is with great sadness that I announce the untimely passing of my nanay, better known as Jaclyn Jose at the age of 60 on the morning of March 2, 2024 due to a myocardial infarction or heart attack,” Andi told reporters.
“We’d like to thank everyone who has since extended their prayers and condolences to us as our family is trying to come to terms with this unfortunate incident,” she said.
“Please provide us the respect and privacy to grieve and we hope this would put all speculations to rest,” Andi added.
