DPWH completes P23-m road projects

THE Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has completed the construction of a P23-million farm-to-market road (FMR) and access road projects) in the municipalities of Sibunag and Nueva Valencia, in the island-province of Guimaras DPWH Region 6 Director Sanny Oropel said the newly concreted roads will hasten and ease the transport of goods and basic services to nearby towns, increasing opportunities for productivity and local economic development.

He said local farmers in the surrounding communities will benefit from a newly-finished road projects, along with the Cabalagnan Fish Landing in Barangay Cabalagnan, Nueva Valencia.
