More than a thousand couples benefit from the Kasalang Bayan conducted
by the City Government of Caloocan and personally officiated by City
Mayor Dale Gonzalo “Along” Malapitan on Wednesday, February 14 at the
Caloocan City Sports Complex, as part of the celebrations for the 62nd
Cityhood Anniversary.
Mayor Along congratulated the newly-weds and reminded them of the
permanent commitment that they have entered to show love and support
to their partners.
“Congratulations po sa lahat ng mga bagong kasal ngayong araw! Sana ay
maging maganda at maluwalhati ang inyong pagsasama sa araw-araw at
tandaan po ninyo na hindi biro ang pinasok niyo kaya sana po ay
mapanatili niyo ang pagmamahal at pagsuporta sa inyong mga katuwang sa
buhay,” Mayor Along said.
The City Mayor likewise acknowledged the possible role of the couples
as future parents and assured them that his administration will
continue its support to the city’s families, especially with regard to
programs and projects for the development of children.
“Alam ko po na marami rin sa inyo ang nagbabalak na magsimula ng
pamilya kaya makakasisiguro po kayo na hindi po titigil ang tulong ng
pamahalaang lungsod sa inyo dito sa libreng kasal,” Mayor Along
stated.
“Mula sa pagsilang hanggang sa kanilang paglaki, nakahanda po ang mga
proyekto at programa natin upang tulungan kayong bigyan ng magandang
bukas ang inyong mga anak at makabuo ng isang masayang pamilya na
magbibigay ng kalinga sa kanila,” he added.
