Zamora secures second term in San Juan

In San Juan, incumbent Mayor Francis Zamora has secured a second term after winning against a candidate of the Estrada-led political party.

Zamora secured 66,883 votes, while his opponent, former barangay councilor Jun Usman got 9,413 votes, based on the Commission on Elections’ official tally.

In Manila Vice Mayor Honey Lacuna is leading the race, based on the first partial and unofficial tally of the Comelec.

In Quezon City, reelectionist Joy Belmonte is leading the Quezon City mayoral race with over 583,000 votes, while Anakalusugan party-list Rep. Mike Defensor trails with 367,000 votes.

Votes are still being tallied in other parts of the National Capital Region.
