Debts paid, Parañaque City

Parañaque City Treasurer Anthony Pulmano (right) announces that the city government now has P5.3 billion in savings under the administration of Mayor Edwin Olivarez after paying previous billion-peso bank loans. The city government also has time deposits with two banks worth P1.7 billion since the last quarter of 2019. Pulmano credited the city’s current financial standing to several tax revenue measures by Olivarez administration, together with all income-generating offices boosting their tax collections and a strict adherence to prudent spending.
