The new season brings with it five key bag styles from Italian luxury leather goods label Furla.

Furla’s new bag styles (from left) Brava, Lady M, and Mimi.

Brava is a structured, yet ultra light bag made of calfskin leather, available in shoulder bag and mini crossbody in two colors: dark red Ribes and Nero. A versatile shoulder bag, Diva has a gusset bag construction with inside compartments and convenient back pocket, its body is made of goatskin leather and a suede flap.

Fantastica is a classic handbag designed for everyday use what with its functionality: foldable, double zip, comfortable handles, metal feet, and many outer and inner pockets. Lady M comes in crocodile embossed calf leather in Nero, gray Asfalto, or pink beige. Finally, Mimi is the season’s must-have featuring a bandolier silhouette, with a flat pocket on the back to keep essentials, and a metallic chain with leather inserts.

Manila Standard

Manila Standard website (manilastandard.net), launched in August 2002, extends the newspaper’s reach beyond its traditional readers and makes its brand of Philippine news and opinion available to a much wider and geographically diverse readership here and overseas.

Digital Edition

In tone and content, the online edition mirrors the editorial thrust of the newspaper. While hewing to the traditional precepts of fairness and objectivity, MS believes the news of the day need not be staid, overly long or dry. Stories are succinct, readable and written in a lively style that has become a hallmark of the newspaper.
