The basics of makeup application for television, movies, print magazines, newspaper, photo shoots, runways, corporate, bridal, glamor, and fashion is being taught in a certified course at the School for Professional and Continuing Education (SPaCE) at De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde (DLS-CSB).
This module introduces participants to the fundamentals of makeup by using traditional application. It is an intensive program where students are taught about products and tools knowledge, skin science, color theory, face and eye shapes and even advanced corrective techniques, plus remedial camouflage makeup.
Lessons run for eight Saturdays, from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. till Dec. 9. Afternoon snacks and free-flowing coffee are provided during all sessions.
