#JusticeForKillua is trending on X on Tuesday, March 19, as netizens call for accountability against a man who brutally killed a dog in Bicol.

In a viral video posted across social media platforms, a man identified as Anthony Solares chasing and viciously beating golden retriever Killua. The footage showed Anthony using a sharp object beating the defenseless dog. The heartbreaking video documented the cruelty experienced by Killua, who was later found lifeless inside a sack.

According to Killua’s owner, Vina Rachelle, the golden retriever wandered out of their gate around 5:40AM.

Vina suspected Anthony intended to eat Killua, citing the presence of cooking equipment and coal discovered near the dog’s body. Determined to find justice for her beloved pet, she said that she is planning to take legal action against the suspect.

Killua is probably happy na madaming nagmamahal sakanya aside from his family,” she added.

On the other hand, the suspect reposted Vina’s Facebook posted and contradicted her accusations saying that Killua was supposed to attack his child.

[W]alang mapapala iyan dahil kamag-anak namin pulitiko,” he wrote.

In a separate post, he said, “‘Wag mung ipost kung hindi nakuhaan ang buung pangyayare. hidni mo ipinakita kung paano pagtangkaan ng aso ang aking maliit na anak. wag mong baligtarin ang istorya.”
