Longchamp and Robert Indiana have teamed up to release a capsule collection that celebrates shared values of graphic simplicity, inventive design, and optimistic colors. The collection features Indiana’s iconic Love image reproduced in three colorways on the Le Pliage travel bag, shoulder bag, pouch, and two new square iterations of the bag.
The collection also includes a cowhide leather Le Pliage XS embossed with the Love image in three monochrome colorways, as well as a cowhide leather keychain, a red-on-white cotton T-shirt, a grey cotton sweatshirt, and a silk scarf featuring Indiana’s brightly colored numbers.
In addition, Longchamp has released several exclusive bags interpreting additional Indiana artworks, including a black cowhide leather Le Pliage XS featuring Indiana’s number eight, a symbol of good luck in Chinese culture, and a very exclusive edition of a black cowhide leather Le Pliage XS embossed with a red Love emblem. A yellow Le Pliage tote bag exclusive to the United States is also available.
