Happy Mother’s Day to Mama, Madir, Mimi, and the many nicknames we lovingly call you. We will never stop flexing how lucky we got when the universe made you our mom. Rain or shine, we know you’ll always be here to support and love us. So, Ma, on this special day (and everyday), we want to express how grateful we are, knowing that whatever nickname we utter, you will always be our mother. We love you!

To my very special mom, I know that there are times when you just want to give up when the amount of challenges that come with being a mom becomes too hard every single day.
I am glad that I was raised by a strong woman like you, mom, you have set an example of how a woman can single-handedly run the house and influence the success of the whole family.
All of your efforts and sacrifices never go unnoticed. Thank you for your unconditional love and support for me Mommy, I love you more than you love keeping our home clean every single day.

Happy Mother’s Day!

Love,
Ky

A message from Pierangalo Ong

Hi, mom. Happy Mother’s Day!

I just want to thank you for everything that you have done for me. All your sacrifices to make my life better will always be appreciated. I will always take to heart all the lessons you have taught me to be a better individual. Words are not enough to explain how thankful I am for you.
I love you mom, and to more memories together ahead!

A Letter to My Mom
By Renj Gutierrez

You’ve known me my whole life, but I’ve only known you for 24 years.

During these 24 years, I’ve learned a lot from you. I learned to be both strong and patient, kind but firm and disciplined but still with an easygoing side.

I used to think I could only choose to be one. I could either be poised or free-spirited. But you taught me that in life, balance is important. I can’t always be one thing. Life is complex and we need to accept it.

Thank you for trusting me to make my own decisions. I know it was hard for you, but I really appreciated that you took the leap of faith. Thank you for believing in me. Everyday, I work hard to prove that you did not make the mistake of trusting me. And no matter how far apart we are, I will always love you.

You helped me become the person I am right now, and I am grateful for it.

Thank you for your sacrifices. I will make sure that all your sacrifices were worth it. You might not be the perfect mother–no one is–but I thank God that He gave me a mom that helped me become the person that I am right now.

Through all the struggles, tears, and joys, you are my mother, and I love you.
