Thailand’s favorite restaurant has finally made its way to the Philippines at the ground level of SM Aura Premier.

While Thai at heart, Greyhound’s food concept is anything but traditional. Its recipes come from far and wide-handed down from grandmothers, inspired by Bangkok street food and travel memories

Greyhound first opened its doors in Bangkok in 1980, launching its “Basic with a Twist” fashion line known for its style and attitude. In 1998, Greyhound added more aspects to the brand by expanding to the food business.

The first Greyhound Café was opened at the Emporium Shopping Complex in Bangkok and became instantly famous, thanks to its creative director Bhanu Inikawat and his Corporate Executive Chef Torsit Sarisdiwong-See’s on approach in its innovative and creative menu. Fortune Magazine is quoted as saying it had the “hottest seats in Bangkok” after a few years of opening. After 20 years, it has 17 branches in Thailand and 18 restos in other countries including Hong Kong, China, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, and the United Kingdom. And the brand continues to grow.

Brought in to the Philippines by the Viva Group, Greyhound Café offers a taste of modern contradictions and chili fish sauce, flair with creative chaos where east meets west, traditional meets international, street meets couture, all fused together in a beautiful chaotic way.

Serving “modern Bangkok with a twist,” the stylish food chain offers a traditional Thai palate infused with a western spin. The flavor-forward brand is already the talk of the town for its delicious and unique dishes such as the salmon carpaccio with herbed Thai sauce, muay thai grilled chicken, and light tom yum soup.

Housed at the heart of BGC, SM Aura Premier, the stylish cafe sits in the mall’s prime upper ground floor.
