QC building permits to go online

Amid the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic, the Quezon City government is set to implement online application for building permits and business licenses.

Mayor Joy Belmonte said such initiative would limit face-to-face interactions between citizens and city hall employees, especially that social distancing is strictly advised during the lockdown.

“It is high time that we harness the benefits that technology can offer and implement creative approaches to ensure everyone’s safety,” she said.

Starting today (June 1), those who wish to get or renew one’s business permit is advised to download and fill out the unified business permit application form.

The accomplished form should be submitted to the Business Permit and Licensing Division through email at [email protected] for evaluation.
