The municipality of Cainta has started the year with numerous projects to provide for the needs of its residents.

Mayor Kit Nieto has launched 13 programs in 13 hours for Cainta, including the ‘Kainta-yo’ feeding program at Westbank Floodway, which aims to fully support selected residents until the end of his term.

Mayor Kit Nieto initiated projects such as “Kainta-yo” at Westbank Floodway, a feeding program which promises to fully support selected residents until the end of his term.

He also made the project “Kadiwa ni Ani at Kita,” giving residents the opportunity to purchase affordable products and helping local farmers generate income.

Cainta also provided help to the victims of Taal Volcano’s eruption. They also rescued the evacuees from Sampa Sta. Rita and Talisay, Batangas.

Nieto has consistently conducted a series of inaugurals dubbed as “13 Inaugurals in 13 hours.”

There have also been requested projects, which were granted for the service and leisure of the residents of Cainta such as the Parola Terminal, the Crematorium, the covered courts, parks and skate park.

Structures like One Arena and One Cainta Market were also built, with upcoming projects such as Corinthians Housing Project, Parola Multipurpose Hall, and disaster office within the municipality.

Meanwhile, Nieto urged Sen. Christopher Lawrence “Bong” Go to launch a “Malasakit Center” in Cainta for its residents to afford health services since it is funded by the national government and some financial assistance can be covered by it, especially those that local government units cannot provide.

He also said no matter from what town or city people come from, once they need help, Cainta is always ready to help.

“Whoever comes here in need should get what he deserves, that’s what the government should do,” Nieto said.

The mayor is looking forward to the agreement with Sen. Go on the Malasakit Center in Cainta.
