LINGAYEN, Pangasinan—Governor Amado I. Espino III urged Pangasinenses to unite and support the bid of Annie Uson, the reigning Limgas na Pangasinan, for the Miss Millennial Philippines crown.

Espino, during the regular flag-raising ceremony of the provincial government, recently praised Uson and described her journey in the televised beauty pageant as a source of inspiration for Pangasinense youth.

At the flag-raising ceremony, Uson thanked the provincial government and Pangasinenses for their unwavering support for her bid for Miss Millennial Philippines, a segment of the country’s longest-running noontime show Eat Bulaga held for its 38th anniversary.

She sought every Pangasinense’s support for her to be able to win the much-coveted crown by joining her crusade in promoting Miss Millennial Pangasinan’s page through social media.

To gain more support, Uson has been visiting various schools and local government units as well.

The live pageant and coronation of Miss Millennial 2017 will be held at the Broadway Centrum, Aurora Boulevard in Quezon City on September 30 and will be aired via GMA 7.

According to The Philippine Pageantry page, the advocacy of the beauty contest launched by one of the country’s most popular shows is not just to show the physical beauty and intellect of young Filipinas, but by showcasing the individual hometown or home province of the ladies.

Pangasinenses are urged to show their all-out support to Uson by liking and sharing her videos on Facebook (Miss Millennial Pangasinan), on Twitter (@MMPhPangasinan), and Instagram (@missmillennialpangasinan) for her to bring home the crown.
