As Muntinlupa eagerly anticipates its 29th Cityhood Anniversary on March 1, the city is gearing up for a day of celebration and reflection under the theme “Progressive Pathways Towards Smart City Excellence.”
The anniversary festivities will kick off with a Holy Mass at 6:30 AM, setting a tone of gratitude and unity as the community comes together to mark this significant milestone.
One of the highlights of the day will be the partnership of Maynilad and the City Government in the unveiling of the Muntinlupa 29th Cityhood Anniversary Commemorative Manhole Cover, a symbol of the city’s resilience and progress.
In line with the city’s commitment to health and wellness, a medical mission will be conducted in partnership with the City Government, City Health Department, and Mercury Drug at Barangay Sucat. This initiative aims to provide essential healthcare services to residents, furthering Muntinlupa’s mission of ensuring the well-being of its citizens.
Additionally, the day’s activities will include the blessing of the new baseball field at the Sports Complex in Barangay Tunasan, providing residents with enhanced recreational facilities and promoting an active lifestyle within the community.
In the afternoon, Muntinlupa will recognize the contributions of its top 10 taxpayers, acknowledging their vital role in supporting the city’s growth and development. This gesture of appreciation reflects Muntinlupa’s commitment to fostering strong partnerships with its business community.
