NCRPO promotes, awards 14 cops for job-well-done in anti-crime drive

THE National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) has promoted and awarded 14 police officers for outstanding service in combating criminality in Metro Manila.

During a flag-raising ceremony at the NCRPO headquarters in Camp Bagong Diwa in Taguig City, six police of the awardees were recognized for their role in the Anti-Illegal Drugs Campaign, leading  to the arrest of numerous individuals and seizure of illegal drugs.

The “Medalya ng Kagalingan” were given to Maj. Armando Perez Linget of the Manila Police District (MPD), SSgt. Mae Anne Montemayor Nudalo of the Southern Police District (SPD),  Cpl. Globert Batara of NCRPO Regional Intelligence Division (NCRPO-RID), Cpl. Noriel Baula Boco of the Northern Police District (NPD), and Cpl. Paul John Fernandez Bulusan and Pat. Marlon Blancaflor Beronilla, both from the Eastern Police District (EPD).

Capt. John Cabrera Baligat, also from the NCRPO-RID, who was cited for his performance and devotion during the implementation of the Bureau of Immigration and Deportation Mission Order which led to the arrest of two Taiwanese nationals.

SSgt. Fernando Aniñon Guerrero Jr., also from MPD, was recognized for his meritorious and invaluable service rendered during an operation that resulted in the arrest of an individual and the recovery of firearm and ammunition.

Cpl. Raffy Dela Cruz Estilo from the Quezon City Police District was also recognized for exemplary performance rendered during a hot pursuit operation that resulted in the arrest of two individuals for drugs and recovery of stolen mobile phones, firearm, improvised short firearm, and live ammunition.

SSgt, Cyrus Gabbuat Goli of SPD, Cpl. Moris Velasquez Abulencia of QCPD, and Cpl. Fernando Carmelo Laciste Jr. from NPD were awarded with “Medalya ng Papuri” for their commendable performance and devotion to duty during various police operations resulting in the arrest of individuals for various crimes.

Col. Bogard Arao, chief of the MPD District Community Affairs Development Division, was likewise honoured during the flag-raising ceremony.

NCRPO Deputy Regional Director for Administration Brig. Gen. Reynaldo Tamondong acknowledged the exceptional accomplishments of the awardees and emphasized the importance of proper behavior among Philippine National Police personnel to adhere to the intensified disciplinary mechanism.

“We are expected to exhibit the highest standards of conduct, professionalism, and ethical behavior. We must uphold the rule of law and serve justice without compromising fairness, justice, and equality. Adhere to protocols, follow lawful orders, and maintain the highest level of integrity in all our interactions,” he said.
