The Public Employment Service Office-Provincial Government of Lanao del Norte (PESO-PGLDN) was named the National Winner in the 2022 Search for Best PESO under the 2nd Class Province Category during the 23rd National PESO Congress held at Leyte Academic Center.
Evelyn Lopez, PESO Manager of Lanao del Norte, expressed her excitement upon receiving the award. She said, “This is our first time to be awarded as Best PESO. Among all the 2nd Class Provinces PESOs in the country, we are glad that our dedication to serve was recognized.”
With the theme, “Unified PESO: Foundation for Gainful Employment Digitalization, and Economic Progress,” this annual gathering of PESO Managers, DOLE Officials, and employees with other special guests coming from different parts of the country was held to recognize the best PESOs for their notable contributions and accomplishments in employment facilitation programs and for exemplifying excellence in public service.
PESO-PGLDN was also a winner of the Bayanihan Service Award of DOLE for two consecutive years, and Lopez was honored to bring honor to the province and excited to turn over the trophies to Gov. Imelda “Angging” Quibranza-Dimaporo to thank her for her ceaseless support in all the programs, activities, and initiatives of her office.
