Mayor Along leads opening of Caloocan Trade Bazaar, products of PWDs, coops, local businessmen

Caloocan City Mayor Dale Gonzalo “Along” Malapitan led the opening of the ‘Juanap-buhay’ Caloocan Trade Bazaar as part of the celebration of Caloocan’s 61st Cityhood Anniversary at City Hall Commercial Complex which features products made by persons with disability (PWDs), cooperatives, beneficiaries of livelihood trainings and local micro businesses.

Moreover, free services such as blind massage and pet grooming are offered. In addition, there shall be acoustic performances and open mic night for everyone to enjoy and is open from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Mondays to Sundays, from February 6 to 15, 2023.

The said bazaar is joint-project of the Persons with Disability Affairs Office (PDAO), Public Employment Service Office (PESO), City Economic and Investment Promotion Office (CEIPO), Cooperative Development and Coordinating Office (CDCO), City Veterinary Department (CVD), Internal Audit Services (IAS), Caloocan Anti-Drug Abuse Office (CADAO).

The local chief executive commended each of the stall organizers, citing that he appreciates the effort and that the local government fully supports their economic endeavors.

“Ngayon pa lang po kinikilala ko na po kayo sa inyong pagsisikap bilang maliliit na negosyo. Suportado po kayo ng pamahalaang lungsod sa inyong mga susunod na adhikain, handa po kaming tumulong na i-promote ang inyong mga negosyo,” Mayor Along said.

He likewise invited the employees and residents of Caloocan to support the said venture, highlighting that this shall help boost and promote the local products and services of the city.

“Suportahan po natin ang ating Juanap-buhay Caloocan Trade Bazaar at iparamdam natin sa ating mga kababayan na tinatangkilik natin ang mga produkto at serbisyo ng mga Batang Kankaloo,” stated Mayor Along.
