Fishermen of Navotas City received fuel subsidies from the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR), where in its distribution began this Tuesday.
The BFAR Fuel Subsidy is reserved for Navoteños who own boats.

The fuel subsidy distribution started at 8:00 am until 12:00 noon at the 4th floor Fishing Hall of Navotas City Hall.
For boat owners who have received a fuel discount card from BFAR, here is the list of gasoline stations where it can be used.

Meanwhile, the fishermen are very grateful for the fuel subsidy they received and said it will help them a lot.
“This is a big for us, because no matter how much the discount we get, we can always use it for our children’s school, and for food we will served for our family,” said Tatay Arnulfo Cruz.
Mayor John Rey Tiangco on the other hand, reminds fishermen who already received the fuel subsidy to please follow the guidelines for using the discount card to avoid any malfunction or disqualification from the program.
