Housing developer takes to the fairway.

Over 100 golfers headed to Manila Southwoods recently for the 10th Pelagio A. Alvarez Foundation (P.A. Foundation), a yearly event to raise funds to support the foundation’s initiatives, including feeding programs,  disaster relief operations and environmental activities, to name a few. Kicking off this year’s tourney were Masahiko Toda, general manager, overseas business division, Hankyu Hanshin properties corp. ;

Gustavo Tambunting, congressman, 2nd district, city of Paranaque; Romarico “Bing” Alvarez, chairman, P.A. Properties; Laos ambassador Songkane Luangmuninthone; Vietnam ambassador Ly Quoc Tuan; and Jonathan G. Lu, president, P.A. Properties. P.A. Properties has built some 19,000 housing units in Laguna, Batangas, Bulacan, Cavite, Pampanga, and Metro Manila. It plans to build 25 more housing communities in the next five years.
