Lamudi, the leading Philippine real estate online platform, has officially opened nominations for The Outlook, a gala that honors the projects and developers that made the biggest impact in local real estate in the past year. This year, Philippine real estate developers are invited to nominate their own new developments to compete in various award categories.

“The past few years have been good to Philippine real estate, as evidenced by the rise of some of the most magnificent developments in the country. The aim of Lamudi’s The Outlook is not just to recognize the excellence of the industry’s top projects and the achievement of their developers. We also want to ensure that the public is fully aware of the projects they should anticipate and consider as a potential investment,” Lamudi CEO and Managing Director Bhavna Suresh said.

For the 2018 awards, condos, subdivisions, and mixed-use developments will not be the only types of properties to be recognized. Nominations will also be accepted for commercial developments, namely: hotels, retail developments, shared office spaces, and alternative living spaces.

“The addition of these new categories ensures that we recognize the achievement of developers beyond houses and condos. The design and construction of commercial developments take as much dedication and skill, which should be brought to light and acknowledged,” Suresh explained.

These property seekers will only be voting in categories that match their search interests.

Winners will be awarded at a gala to be held on November 15 at Makati Shangri-La.

First held in November 2017, The Outlook aims to single out the best developments in different categories as chosen by Lamudi’s property seekers. Last year, 10,000 respondents were surveyed to determine the winners of 22 categories, which included Best Condo Developer awarded to Ayala Land, Best Housing Developer to Camella, Best Condo Developer-Visayas to Cebu Landmasters, and BestMixed-Use Developer-Visayas to Megaworld for Mactan Newtown.
