Grand dame restored

Workers put finishing touches to the Metropolitan Theater on June 22, 2021, in Lawton, Manila for its soft opening today (Wednesday). The art deco theater was originally scheduled to open on June 12 but was postponed “due to the recent surge of COVID cases and in line with the regulations under the prevailing General Community Quarantine with restrictions.”
