Dog day afternoon

Generally considered as man’s furry best friend, these four-legged representatives of homeless pets commonly called Askals (for asong kalye) or Aspins (for asong Pinoys) loiter around a construction site in Sta. Ana, Manila even as the Philippine Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) has declared Aug. 18, 2022 a National Aspin Day.
