Trade Undersecretary for Consumer Protection Group Ruth Castelo and Fair Trade Enforcement Bureau Assistant Director Marimel Porciuncula lead the inspection of prices and supply of noche buena items and basic necessities and prime commodities in three Quezon City supermarkets. The monitoring team aims to ensure there are enough stocks of BNPCs and Christmas food products this holiday season and check if retailers follow the suggested retail price as published by the Department of Trade and Industry.
