Chevron Philippines Inc. said Tuesday it opened 28 new retail sites under the Caltex brand across the country in 2022, capping a year of milestones for the fuel company.

“Each new Caltex station is a feat for us. Every year, we aim to make our products and services more accessible to our customers to make sure their journeys remain seamless and worry-free,” said CPI country chairman Billy Liu.

Caltex opened stations in Metro Manila, Isabela, Bataan, Bulacan, Pampanga, Laguna, Cavite, Batangas and Palawan in Luzon; Bohol in the Visayas; and Cagayan de Oro, Davao and Zamboanga in Mindanao.

Caltex said it opened five stations in Palawan to cater to the growing fuel needs of residents and tourists. These new stations are located in Orduja, Mangingisda, Puerto Princesa City, Brookes Point and Roxas to make traveling smoother and easier for local residents and foreigners.

Chevron said it continued to build and strengthen power partnerships last year through collaboration with Quezon Power Philippines Ltd. Co., which powers the 460-megawatt coal plant in Mauban Quezon and Aboitiz Power Corp., one of the country’s leading energy providers.

“2022 was a great year for Chevron. We are grateful for all the accomplishments that we were blessed to have this year. We are even more thankful for the opportunity to give back to our loyal customers. None of this would have been possible without their unceasing trust and support,” Liu said.

The company continues to supply diesel to help keep vital power plants running, opened numerous auto service centers and poured social investments in areas stricken by natural disasters.

Chevron held several relief efforts in 2022 such as the Biyaheng Pagtulong promo where for every liter of fuel purchased, Chevron and its Caltex network of retailers and marketers donated P1 to help communities still reeling from the destruction caused by Super Typhoon Odette.

The donation was used to provide roofing and construction materials to help families rebuild their homes in six provinces in the Visayas and Mindanao.

The company also opened its 100th Caltex Havoline autoPro workshop at Caltex C5 extension, Merville, Paranaque City.

Chevron is one of the world’s leading integrated energy companies that started in the United States.
