Globe Telecom Inc. said over the weekend it is upgrading the speed of home broadband plans without any additional cost to subscribers.
“Globe At Home started increasing the broadband speeds of eligible customers and rightsizing or upgrading older plans to the new portfolio, without additional fees,” the telecom unit of the Ayala Group said.
“These kinds of services have been done for about 50 percent of Globe At Home postpaid base already,” it said.
Globe At Home’s unlimited broadband plans 1699 and 1899 were upgraded to 25 Mbps and 35 Mbps, respectively so that families can do more online and enjoy a faster shared connect1ion.
“This is how much we value our customers and how much they matter to us. We want to ensure we proactively service our customers without them asking for it to stay ahead and never get left behind,” said Darius Delgado, Globe vice president and head of broadband business.
