DITO Telecommunity Corp., a joint venture of Davao-businessman Dennis Uy and China Telecoms, announced the expansion of its mobile service coverage in 21 more cities starting April 16 this year.

“We are very excited to announce that in just a few weeks after our commercial launch in Cebu and Davao, more Filipinos can now experience stronger and reliable connectivity with DITO’s Luzon expansion,” DITO chief administrative officer Adel Tamano said.

DITO commercially launched its mobile services in 15 selected cities in Visayas and Mindanao on March 8.

Tamano said included in the DITO expansion are the provinces of Tarlac, Nueva Ecija, Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Cebu and General Santos. DITO SIM cards are now available in more than 300-partner stores and will be available soon in three DITO-owned stores in Cebu and Davao.
