Chinese mobility company GAC Motor concluded the first quarter of 2024 with an exceptional growth in retail sales of 774 units, up by 274 percent from 207 units it sold in the same period in 2023.
GAC said it earned its position as the fastest-growing automotive brand in the market, setting new benchmarks for success in the industry.
GAC brand head Franz Decloedt said the surge in sales could be attributed to the increasing demand for GAC Motor’s diverse lineup, which includes popular models such as the Emzoom, Empow, Emkoo, GS8 and the latest additions to its lineup, the M8 luxury van and M6 Pro family MPV.
“This significant achievement further motivates and emboldens us at Astara Philippines to continue bringing in vehicles that provide the unmatched experience and outstanding quality that meet the mobility needs of every Filipino,” he said.
