Beat the heat

Iloilo City’s power distributor MORE Power and Electric Corp. provides water to barangays affected by a 12-hour power interruption. Affected customers can enjoy refreshing baths even without electricity. MORE Power says it is working to help them ease the discomfort caused by the heat and lack of electricity in the area. MORE Power says that as of 12 noon Sunday, it accomplished 83 percent of its scope of work.
