The tollway unit of Metro Pacific Investments Corp. was shortlisted to acquire a toll road project in Indonesia.

“We made an offer for an Indonesian tollway. It’s outstanding and I understand we’ve been shortlisted,” Metro Pacific Tollways Corp. chairman Manuel Pangilinan said.

Pangilinan said the toll road had a length of more than 100 kilometers. He did not provide other details because of a confidentiality agreement.

“I think in a few weeks [there would be a result]. There’s a process that the sellers have adopted. They have advisers and so forth,” he said.

MPTC president and chief executive Rodrigo Franco said said the company was expecting the results this week.
