Philippine Long Distance Telephone Co. said it will continue to team up with cloud service providers to serve more local companies requiring the service.
“We’ve already seen the interest and need among local enterprises in utilizing the advantages of integrating cloud technologies into their operations. We plan to continue this momentum of forging stronger partnerships with industry leaders in beefing up our services to the enterprise market, and sustain our leadership as the trusted cloud solutions provider in the country,” said ePLDT Group chief operating officer Nerisse Ramos.
PLDT said that since unit ePLDT teamed up with Microsoft as cloud solutions provider last year, it had served the needs of enterprises for an end-to-end cloud solutions partner through PLDT cloud offerings.
“The rising demand for cloud and mobility has inspired us to steer businesses toward transformation,” Microsoft Philippines general manager Karrie Ilagan said.
