Cebu Landmasters Inc. said Monday reservation sales increased 14 percent in the first half to P8.5 billion from the same period last year on sustained housing demand in the Visayas and Mindanao.

CLI in a disclosure to the stock exchange said reservation sales for the second quarter alone climbed 13 percent to P5.2 billion from the same period a year ago.

The company launched six new projects across different segments in Cebu, Iloilo and Ormoc in the first six months.

CLI said its main market Cebu accounted 29 percent of sales, followed by Iloilo with 27 percent and Cagayan de Oro with 20 percent. The rest came from sales in Davao, Bacolod, Dumaguete, Bohol and Ormoc.

CLI’s mid-market and economic housing units accounted for 38 percent and 41 percent respectively while its high-end developments contributed 21 percent. CLI also started offering higher-end units in anticipation of a post pandemic boom in the southern regions.
