Vianna Ricafranca, a young social media celebrity from Albay, was crowned as the first-ever ultimate winner of GMA Networks’ reality singing search for kids, Centerstage.
Following their sing-off of Ted Ito’s “Maghintay Ka Lamang” in a four-way battle, the top four finalists were narrowed down to the final two, with Vianna and the young ukulele player from Bulacan, Oxy Dolorito, being chosen over Rain Barquin of Caloocan City, and Colline Salazar of Las Piñas City.
On Sunday night, Vianna bested Oxy during the ultimate one-on-one match where she performed her heartwarming and powerful rendition of “Kahit Isang Saglit” by Martin Nievera.
Centerstage judges Pops Fernandez, Aicelle Santos, and Mel Villena ultimately picked the Bicol›s pride.
Centerstage gave over P2.5 million worth of prizes to all the four grand finalists, with each of them receiving a cash prize and a special gift. And as the grand champion, Vianna will also receive a house and lot from Bria Homes.
Fans and netizens alike took to social media their delight for the show’s finale episode as the hashtag ‘#CenterstageUltimateWinner’ took a spot in the Philippines Trends list.
