Five vaccination sites in Malabon are now accepting walk-in senior citizens
Aside from Malabon Elementary School, Potrero Elementary School, Ninoy Aquino Elementary School and Epifanio delos Santos Elementary School, the fifth vaccination site, Robinson's Townmall Malabon, has also started applying the first dose against the coronavirus and will receive walk-in senior citizens at their appointed times.
Seniors can walk in to the first four school vaccination sites from Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., the local government said.
The Robinson's Townmall Malabon site will receive walk-in vaccinations from Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., but vaccinees can also go to their preferred sites.
The city government stresses the walk-in is exclusively for all senior citizens.
If they belong to the A3 Priority Eligible Group, they only have to bring an unvaccinated senior citizen to get vaccinated at the same time.
For those belonging to Priority Eligible Group A3 or with comorbidities aged 18 to 59 years, they can only be vaccinated if they are registered on the city's online registration form at https://bit.ly/
If they have already received an SMS from the contact center, they only need to show proof of their comorbidities, such as the medical certificate; prescription drugs for six months; hospital record such as discharge summary or medical abstract; and surgical or pathology records.
Those already vaccinated with Sinovac, AstraZeneca and Pfizer jabs are required to return for their 2nd dose and bring their vaccination card.
Those vaccinated with Sinovac will return after 28-32 days, those with AstraZeneca after 10-12 weeks and Pfizer after 21 days.
“Don't forget to wear a face mask and face shield and note the reference number from the sent text because it will be asked at the vaccination site,” the local government said.
“Also bring your own ballpen, alcohol or hand sanitizer, water, umbrella, fan, handkerchief or towel, maintenance medication and vaccination clearance from a doctor if needed,” it added.
Meanwhile, the vaccination of Priority Eligible Group A4 or frontline personnel in essential sectors in the city also started Monday.
Malabonians who are considered to belong to the Priority Eligible Group or frontline personnel in essential work sectors are those included in the A4 category. They must register using the QR Code or through the online registration form.
