The city government of San Juan will be providing free medical services to its indigent residents through the “Libreng Serbisyong Medical” program.

In a Facebook post on Monday, Mayor Francis Zamora said the program was recently launched in partnership with the private company HealthCube Medical clinics, which is aimed at providing free medical assistance to residents who can barely afford the costs of some healthcare services.

Among the free medical services are laboratory and diagnostic procedures, vaccination, surgery as well as rehabilitation and physical therapy.

Residents who wish to avail of the city’s free medical services should submit three original copies of Barangay Indigency for Medical Assistance of the beneficiary, three photocopies of Diagnostic or Laboratory requests and three photocopies of the patient’s valid identification card.

Complete requirements will be processed at the Public Assistance Center at the San Juan City Hall.

Zamora reminded the residents to coordinate first with the city’s PAC for proper endorsement and get a guarantee letter before going to the HealthCube medical clinics.

This is part of the city government’s efforts to boost its local healthcare system amid the prevailing Covid-19 pandemic.
