Angeles City — The city government is holding 12 days Christmas sale for the city’s One Town, One Product (OTOP) products.
The event, dubbed “12.12. PasalOne Na Po: Angeles City One Town One Product 12-day Christmas Sale” runs from December 1 to 12.
Executive Assistant IV Reina Manuel said the initiative is in line with the city government’s “Gawang Angeleno” campaign promoting local OTOP products.
She said products up for sale include miniature ships from Adto Ship; metal plant stands by BG Metals; water bonsais of the JJBMS Blooming Greens; plant baskets from Cutud Weavers; recycled bags by Ellen’s Handbags; kitchen organizers from Flores Handicrafts; and bayong bags of Tamayuq.
Other items are painted home decorations made by Tabak’s Artworks; fashion accessories of K’s creations; wooden kitchenware from WoodCraft by Madison; capiz home decorations from Chilona Fabrica; and hair accessories of Stitched by Raj.
Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin Jr. has urged city residents to buy local products this holiday season to be able to help local merchants cope in this time of COVID-19 pandemic.
“Gusto natin makita ng mga tao yung quality ng mga OTOP products natin at mabili para matulungan din natin yung mga local merchants mas dumami pa yung benta nila, lalo na ngayong papalapit na ang Pasko,” the mayor said.
