Agents seize P4.8 million worth of shabu in Angeles

Angeles City—Anti-narcotics agents arrested two traffickers in separate buy-bust operations in Balibago here late Wednesday night.

The suspects were identified as Jayson Crisostomo, 27, of Navotas City in Metro Manila whose base of operations include Tarlac and Pampanga, and Nihaya Salomabao, both high-value targets of the Central Luzon police and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency.

Crisostomo was arrested by PDEA3 agents along MacArthur Highway of in Balibago. He was about to meet a poseur buyer whom he agreed to meet there.

A paper bag carrying 500 grams of methamphetamine hydrochloride with an estimated street value of P3.4 million was confiscated from the suspect’s possession.

Salomabao was collared by agents of the Angeles City Drug Enforcement Unit shortly after the suspect handed illegal drugs to an undercover cop.

The suspect yielded 200 grams of shabu worth P1.360 million. 

Crisostomo was brought to PDEA3 headquarters while Salomabao was taken to the Angeles City Police Office (ACPO) headquarters for further investigation.

Earlier on that day, the Pampanga Police arrested two suspected illegal drug traffickers during an operation in Bacolor town.

Operatives confiscated 200 grams from the suspects’ possession.
