Volleyball players playing in the National Collegiate Athletic Association need not worry when they join club teams in the Premier Volleyball League when it turns professional next year.

That’s because they will be first group of athletes who will benefit from a special guest license that they need to be part of a play for pay squad.

The NCAA is opening its doors to the idea of its student-athletes getting a permit from the Games and Amusement Board.

“We have to revisit our rules, the NCAA as an organization. We have to adopt to the spirit of the times,” said management committee chairman Fr. Vic Calvo of season 96 NCAA host Colegio de San Juan de Letran.
