The interior of the St. John the Baptist Parish Church in Tabaco, Albay lies in ruin after its roof was torn off by Typhoon ‘Rolly’ on Sunday. The year’s strongest storm ripped apart communities and structures across Luzon, including in the towns of Guinobatan, Tiwi, and Polangui in Albay, the airport in Virac, Catanduanes, and towns in Batangas and Cavite. Communications to the worst-hit areas remained cut off.
