ABS-CBN Corp. said it is investigating the technical problem of its online news website that went inaccessible Thursday morning.
“ABS-CBN’s websites may currently be inaccessible to some users today [Sep. 3] due to a technical problem detected early this morning,” the broadcast unit of the Lopez Group said.
“While we have resolved the issues and restored the sites, some users may still encounter problems but should be able to access them within the next 24 hours,” it said.
ABS-CBN said it was working with its partners in investigating the cause of the incident. “We apologize for whatever inconvenience this may have caused,” the network said.
GMA News Online, the online website of GMA Network Inc., was also inaccessible for several hours. The network has yet to issue a statement as of press time.
