Mounting fears of a possible suspension has compelled two more team members of the University of Santo Tomas Growling Tigers to say goodbye to their school.

Rhenz Abando, the Growling Tigers' third year shooting guard, announced his farewell on Twitter and Instagram, as he joined teammate Ira Bataller in packing up.

“Thank you for your unending grace,” wrote the 6'2" Abando.

Abando, a transferee from Philippine College of Science and Technology in Calasiao, Pangasinan, and Bataller are the third and fourth cagers to leave the Growling Tiger camp.

They followed the path taken by CJ Cansino and Brent Paraiso, who also left the team.

Bataller is a 6'4" power forward from Arellano High School. He was supposed to be entering his third year with UST

Their departure came less than 24 hours before the tripartite group of Philippine Sports Commission, the Commission on Higher Education, and the Games and Amusment Board is set to resume its inquiry on the Growling Tigers.

The government body is looking into safety and health protocol violations that may have occurred during the Growling Tigers' alleged training bubble in Capuy, Sorsogon.
