Lego’s Braille bricks

Lego shares the fun of building blocks with children with vision impairment as it launches Braille Bricks, which lets users learn the Braille writing system.

First launched in April 2019, each brick is molded with studs that correspond to numbers and letters in the Braille alphabet. The letters and symbols are marked on the bricks as well so they can be used by sighted users.

According to the Danish toymaker, each toolkit will have 300+ Lego Braille Bricks covering the full alphabet in the chosen language, numbers 0-9, and select mathematical symbols and punctuation marks.
